This is the Dagger GT, an US built monster for which TranStar Racing takes credit, and which comes with some mind boggling performance figures.
The team behind TranStar Racing includes former NASA aerodynamic specialists who claim that their Dagger GT will produce 2,000 HP and 2,000 lb-ft of torque from a aluminium built, multi fuel race engine that uses twin-turbocharging and for which capacity was not specified.
Thanks to this engine the Dagger GT Sport Car is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 1.5 seconds while the car is capable or reaching top speeds of over 300 mph.
Now after reading these figures there are some questions that come to mind, like what kind of tires will the Dagger GT use or how much does the car weight considering the fact that this is a spider that certainly needed a strengthen chassis to be able to resist that kind of power and speed, also what kind of transmission will be able to send 2,000 HP to the wheels etc. Hopefully TranStar Racing has it all figured out, and if that will be the case then the new land speed record set by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sports won't last long.
The Dagger GT cars price will start at 450,000 USD , rental car start 10000 USD and there will be three versions available : hardcore racer, a street-legal sport version and a softer-riding GT-X model
