Toyota RAV4 electric

One of the latest rumors says the connection between Toyota and Tesla will give birth to two new EV models and these are speculated to be the Toyota RAV4 electric and the Lexus RX electric as Toyota Prius.

The reason why the Toyota RAV4 and the Lexus RX were chosen is because these would both be able to sustain the battery pack's weight, and when talking about the two future prototypes, Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk said they will have better range and acceleration than any EV competitors in the same class.

Nissan Murano Diesel Car

The Japanese car maker is introducing its first Nissan Murano diesel car version badged as the dCi which will be sold on the British market.

The new Nissan Murano diesel engine is a 4-cylinder with a 2.5-litre capacity that outputs 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque and which will be mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox that features Adaptive Shift Control.

Thanks to this dCi engine the diesel version Nissan Murano will comply with the Euro5 emissions standards as it returns 35.3 mpg and has CO2 levels of 210 g/Km.

2011 Peugeot 508 GT and SW

Following the earlier photo leakage, the French manufacturer decided to officially unveil the 2011 Peugeot 508 GT and SW.

Propulsion for the 2011 Peugeot 508 GT and SW will be enabled by the company's HYbrid 4 technology which will provide 200 BHP to the car's all-wheel drive system while CO2 emissions level will be of just 99 g/Km.

As far as dimensions the 2011 Peugeot 508 GT is 4.79 m long while the SW's length is 4.81 m. Public debut will take place in October at the Paris Motor Show and at this point we do not have more details regarding performance and dynamic abilities.

Dagger GT Sport Cars

This is the Dagger GT, an US built monster for which TranStar Racing takes credit, and which comes with some mind boggling performance figures.

The team behind TranStar Racing includes former NASA aerodynamic specialists who claim that their Dagger GT will produce 2,000 HP and 2,000 lb-ft of torque from a aluminium built, multi fuel race engine that uses twin-turbocharging and for which capacity was not specified.

Alfa Romeo Centenary sculpture

As you probably know the Italian car maker is celebrating 100 years of motoring heritage and to mark such an important event, the company has designed the Alfa Romeo Centenary sculpture which is being displayed on the front lawn of Goodwood House at the 2010 edition Goodwood Festival of Speed in West Sussex.

The British motoring event will kick-of between 2-4 July and besides previewing the new Giulietta hatch the automaker will also bring the Alfa 159 'Alfretta' and the Alfa 33 Stradale prototype.
The Alfa Romeo Centenary sculpture was designed by Gerry Judah and it showcases two iconic models, which are the 1925 World Championship winning Alfa P2 Grand Prix race car and the modern Alfa 8C Competizione super car.

Analysts say that Alfa Romeo’s sales goal is unreachable

Financial analysts cited the lack of products, global reach and dealer network as factors that make them doubt that Alfa Romeo will sell more than 500,000 units annually by 2014 from only 102,000 units sold last year.

They say that it’s unlikely that Alfa Romeo cars will be able to hit the target that Fiat S.p.A. CEO Sergio Marchionne has set. They also said that if Alfa fails in achieving this goal, Fiat’s auto division will have a difficult time of hitting another target that Marchionne has set for 2014 to raise operating margin to between 4.1% and 5.1% of revenues from 1.8% last year.

2011 Aston Martin DB9

The British car maker is presenting its upgrade programme for the facelift version 2011 Aston Martin DB9.

The first Aston Martin DB9 model was introduced in 2003 and for the MY2011 the company's sporting grand tourer gets minor exterior tweaks together with a more generous list of equipment features.

Starting with the exterior the 2011 Aston Martin DB9 received a new front bumper with a bright finish radiator grille and a modified lower intake, new headlight bezels, re-styled sills, silver brake calipers, 20 inch diamond turned alloys and clear rear light lenses.
